I have 48 cans of beans and more than two pounds of dried beans in my pantry. Refried, canellini, kidney, black, garbanzo, great northern, baby lima, original baked, chili.... Thank goodness for case lot sales and a mother who is willing to stock up her daughter's pantry. :)
We'll see how long this supply lasts. ;)

Potatoes! And cheese and chicken. As long as I have at least one of those, I can usually make something edible. Having all three is the best.
ReplyDeleteP.S. Thanks for recommending those food storage blogs the other day. I'm having a lot of fun reading them. I have a wheat grinder now and my goal for February is to make edible homemade bread. I'll let you know how it goes!
Hehe! I love "...I can usually make something edible." ;)
ReplyDeleteYou're so welcome! I am excited you have a wheat grinder! Is it manual or electronic? I can't wait to hear about your bread! :)
